Candoo How to Find Apple/ Mac computer system information

 

Step 1

Click on the Apple symbol in the top left corner of the screen.

 

Step 2

Click on About This Mac.

 

Step 3

A window will appear with several tabs at the top. The Overview tab will provide key information about the Apple/ Mac computer. This includes the macOS version, the model of the computer, the type of Processor, and details on Memory (RAM).

 

Step 4

Under the Displays tab, you will see information on the displays (or monitors) that are connected to the computer. To adjust Display settings, click on the 'Display Preferences' button.  

Step 5

Under the Storage tab, you will find details on the total amount of storage of the computer along with how much remaining storage is available. To look into ways of creating more storage space, click on the 'Manage' button. 

Step 6

Under the Support tab, you will find links from Apple regarding macOS and additional links pertaining to the details of the Apple/ Mac computer model. 

 

Step 7

Under the Service tab, are details regarding any warranty information on the computer along with links for paid repairs and support. Please note that service options from Apple may require a fee.
